Finitude is a work in progress.
After getting confronted
with mortality I wanted to explore time and the ultimate ending of all things. In this series I approach the subject from different
angles. I try to find out how humanity deals with finitude, how it tries to
find loopholes or tries to stretch out time for as long as possible. With infrared
film I try to capture people living in the present moment, instead of the past or the
future. With my landscapes I show the impact of time on the planet and how
humans are simply riding along, being formed by the restrictions of time and
will ultimately succumb to time.
